Introduction of Two Modern Candidates

In the president election of 1912 there were two accelerating candidates that impacted the landscape of America. Prospects Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson had been the frontrunner of the 1912 election. This kind of election improved the country in ways that we because Americans can easily feel today. These two candidates spawned a progressive motion from a place where many American sensed as if all their government droped to help out the man on the floor doing the work. Industry when there was clearly a big disparity between the rich and the poor throughout the country because of capitalism the Leader McKinley was assassinated to usher in Theodore Roosevelt. Although he became the President because he was the Vice President at the time of the assassination, Roosevelt's charisma fantastic talent intended for public speaking made him a popular president. His ability to connect with the common gentleman wasn't all those things created favor among the world; his policies while in office provided played an important role in his popularity. Let's take a look at a few of them. Roosevelt was obviously a person that looked after the people, and thus when the popular book " The Jungle” by Upton Sinclair brought the countries attention to the meat and how it was packaged. The book told from the horrible unclean conditions which the Chicago meatpacking industry utilized to package their meats. The President then simply conducting his own research, after finding out that circumstances were worst then the thing that was in the book he acted quickly signed in to law the foodstuff and Medicine Act. Thinking about the people and their conditions Roosevelt created the system known today because the Food and Drug Supervision. This is just one of the things that President Roosevelt accomplished when in office, showing that he had the welfare with the country in mind.
